Depression, Bipolar & Hormone Imbalances

Dr. Michael Ruscio: So I’m here with Vanessa, who recently had some good results here in the clinic. And I’m wondering, would you mind sharing your story with us?

Vanessa: I’d love to. So while I’ve been working with Dr. Ruscio, I can say that my life has changed dramatically. Ever since I was a little girl, I would get a lot of stomach aches. I was always sick, probably every other day.

And I was told not to eat from about 5 to 6 o’clock at night. So I wasn’t allowed to have any food at night. And that really didn’t work.

Also, I would have nausea almost every morning. Actually, every morning, I would have nausea for apparently no reason. Even before breakfast, I would have nausea.

And these things went away after working with Dr. Ruscio.

Also, I was diagnosed with ADHD and bipolar disorder. And I actually have stopped taking my medicines. I haven’t taken medicines for about three or four months. And I feel great.

Another thing is how I used to get colds a lot. I was always sick. Probably every month or month and a half, I had a new cold. And I haven’t had a cold in months. I’ve had symptoms of a cold that wants to build, but I really haven’t gotten sick.

And my PMS symptoms have improved dramatically. That has been a really pleasant change. And another thing that I noticed is when I would get hungry, I would always be lightheaded. It could be in the middle of the day, afternoon. And if I was just a little bit hungry, I would get lightheaded. And now, I am very pleased because I don’t get lightheaded when I’m hungry. I get hungry in my stomach and not in my head.

And I think that the major contributor to all of these changes that I’ve seen in my life is because of diet and hormones. And these are the things that I have learned with Dr. Ruscio. Thank you, Dr. Ruscio.

Dr. Ruscio: Well, you’re very welcome. I’m glad to see you’re doing so well.

What do you think? I would like to hear your thoughts or experience with this.
