Dr. Tufenkian’s Approach To Treating Patients With Complex Chronic Illnesses

  • Tests 
    • She looks at the following lab markers to determine the overall viral load: 
      • Early antigen-diffuse (for Epstein-Barr virus)
      • Immunoglobulin M (IgM)
      • Immunoglobulin E (IgE)
      • Immunoglobulin G (IgG)
  • Patient Evaluation
    • She listens to a patient’s symptoms and medical history to see if they are saying something that aligns with a chronic virus or a reactivated virus.

 

Signs of Chronic Viral Reactivation 

  • Skin crawling sensation
