Dr. Ruscio’s Weekly Tip
In this week’s tip, we discuss how to adapt the Hunter-Gatherer diet for a modern-day society.
Latest Research
The infant microbiota and obesity. Another published paper with more discussion on this, but if you read the paper and check the references, neither probiotics nor prebiotics produce much of an effect. Sad but true.
A recent population observational study showed no relationship between vitamin D and thyroid. But then another study does find an association. This is a nice example of why a review of the evidence is important and why we should not make decisions based upon one study.
Systemic review showing neither timing of gluten introduction nor breastfeeding impact risk for later celiac development. See our recent podcast for more on this, see homepage search box.
Exposure to high levels of traffic noise may increase risk for certain types of lymphoma.
