In a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials, the findings suggested that probiotic supplementation use is effective in lowering the lipid level and coexisting factors associated with cardiovascular disease.


In this study, no statistically significant association was found between the studied female reproductive measures (parity, abortion, use of an oral contraceptive pill, and use of hormone replacement therapy) and 11-year risk of TSH or TPO change.
