Latest Research

Chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (CIPO) is a serious, life-threatening motility disorder that is often related to bacterial overgrowth. Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) therapy may be an efficacious treatment for CIPO patients as it can restore normal intestinal microbial community structure. In this study, FMT significantly alleviated bloating and pain after just two weeks. FMT may also improve patient tolerance of enteral nutrition delivered via an NG tube.

This study investigated whether switching patients from levothyroxine tablets to a gel cap formulation of levothyroxine might reduce dose adjustments and improve tolerability and efficacy. The outcome of the study supports switching patients who may have issues with standard levothyroxine tablets to the levothyroxine gelcap formulation.

When comparing the clinical efficacy of tablet and oral liquid L-thyroxine (LT4) formulation in naïve hypothyroid subjects with Helicobacter pylori infection, this study found that LT4 liquid formulation may produce a better clinical response compared to the tablet formulation in hypothyroid subjects with H. pylori infection.

I have a corn-sensitivity and am wondering if Elemental Heal has any corn-derived ingredients? My doctor told me it was corn-free, so I trusted her and ordered it, but I have been experiencing symptoms similar to what happens when I’m exposed to corn. I was unable to get an adequate response from your customer service team. Thanks.

      Hi Alyse,

While it doesn’t contain any corn, it does have some corn-derived ingredients.
