Air pollution effects on the gut microbiota: a link between exposure and inflammatory disease.

Sucralose has bacterial killing effect on various species of environmental bacteria.

Urban Chinese more inflamed than rural Chinese, even after controlling for diet.  Dr. R’s note: this suggests your environment is as, if not more, important than diet in controlling inflammation.  

Early exposure to microbes (in utero and in early infancy) decreased inflammation later in life.

First study to show that oral supplementation with glutathione increases glutathione stores.  Dr. R’s note: This is nice to see.  Something even better would be correlating this with a clinical outcome; increased energy, less CRP, improved quality of sleep, decreased blood sugar, etc…
